Community Hub - HolmfirthAll 11 schools in our area have now agreed to work together as a community hub. We are all passionate about serving our community, and have developed our work in many innovative ways – both within school and beyond. We believe that by encouraging organisations involved in health, education, sports, arts and other areas we can help add value to the community and the families that our students belong to, which in turn benefits the schools. If the community thrives then so do the students! The Hub schools have also begun a project working alongside staff from the Kirklees Stronger Families Programme. You can find details of this by clicking on the icon below: there is important information about what they do, as well as how they share information. Our Hub website is intended to help you to find the information you need – from local PTA contacts to advice about staying warm in winter. There is even a link to a sports & physical activity finding tool. We hope you find it useful Community Hub Cafe at Scholes Methodist Church - Every Friday |
